We are more “connected” to the world around us than ever before, yet we could not be more disconnected from each other.

To create positive change in our organizations, communities, and businesses requires that we build and sustain real connection with each other in ways that allow us to embrace both our similar and differing perspectives and confront the complex challenges facing our communities today.

In this dynamic and interactive session, Tess will touch on specific traps that derail our connections. And she will discuss straightforward and impactful ways in which we as leaders can overcome those traps and build connections to strengthen our relationships, our teams, and our organizations.    

Tess Fyalka serves as Director of Employee Development & Engagement for O'Shea Builders where she has the privilege of working with a fantastic team of professionals and the opportunity to play a small role in helping each to become the best version of him or herself. Tess is a CTI-trained professional coach, specializing in leadership development. Prior to joining O’Shea, she spent 14 years as an independent consultant. She has written more than 2,000 articles, white papers, blogs, and chapters in books on topics related to management and leadership. She is an Organization Development Certified Professional, a Leadership Circle Certified Practitioner, a Leadership Strategies-trained facilitator, and holds additional certifications in Crucial Conversations, Crucial Accountability, and Conversational Intelligence.

Our luncheons are open to all IWIL members and their guests. Registration is $20 per person on or before February 14 and $25 on February 15 or later, or at the door.
