People who are visually impaired have challenges navigating everyday life.

Attend our Aug. 15 luncheon to find out how the visually impaired have overcome adversity in their sightless world and have

 succeeded in a life that is hard for many to imagine. Peggy Dyson, Executive Director for the Educational Center for Visually Impaired, will be our guest speaker along with one of her visually impaired students.

Dyson is the Executive Director for the Educational Center for the Visually Impaired. The Educational Center’s mission is to provide education, training and resources so people with visual impairments are able to live safe, independent and fulfilling lives. The Educational Center is filling a gap in services for people to learn new skills to help reduce their fears and frustrations as they perform daily activities without the use of their eyesight.

Our luncheons are open to all IWIL members and their guests. Registration is $25 for members and guests through August 9; $30 on or after August 10. Registration will close on August 12.
