"GEM" Awards

The Diamond Award is presented annually to a woman who demonstrates extraordinary standards of professional excellence, vision and dedication within the business community and the IWIL organization.  This member understands the IWIL organizational purpose is to promote professionalism and to develop members’ leadership and management abilities.  This is done through education, mentoring, networking, member participation, encouragement and support, friendship and community involvement.

The Diamond Award will be presented to a woman who exemplifies the IWIL Credo in her everyday life. This woman intuitively grasps the IWIL Credo and acts as a catalyst to those goals.   This woman is dedicated, reliable and fosters an attitude of “the wind beneath the wings” of others who want to fly high.  The IWIL Credo is as follows:
